Member javaisfun gives a hint on how to save you a few keystrokes while you're voting for The Thrill, Lastings Milledge.
- Download the iMacros addon (available for IE or Firefox. This will download, and restart your browser.
- Leave the left side iMacros bar open, and go through the voting process once so it registers your picks.
- Once you've submitted it once, click here. This will go to the correct page.
- Type in the 5 digit registration code, then click Continue on the left.
- It will complete the voting once. Now, on the left sidebar, in the Repeat Macro Max field(by default displays 3), type 23. Then click Play (Loop). The program will go to the voting window, pause for you to enter the code, then you click continue. It will do this 23 times.
Profit. Natstown.

As good citizens of NatsTown, we need to get as many Natinals on the All-Star Team as possible.
Specifically, Lastings Milledge (Thrilledge to NatsTown residents) is on the National League All-Star Ballot. Nothing would be more NatsTown than having the Natinals lone All-Star game representative be a AAA player for whom the organization has no plan.

The facts thus far:
- Manny has been suspended for 50 games
- The substance was most likely HCG - which is used to stimulate to production of testosterone. It's most common usage is for female fertility enhancement.
- It's most common usage with males is for testicles which no longer function as intended.
- It can be used to mask other agents. Per ESPN: Ramirez had used hCG, which is typically used by steroid users to restart their bodies' natural testosterone production as they come off a steroid cycle. It is similar to Clomid, the drug Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi and others used as clients of BALCO.
- Manny's statement was : “Recently I saw a physician for a personal health issue. He gave me a medication, not a steroid, which he thought was okay to give me. Unfortunately, the medication was banned under our drug policy. Under the policy that mistake is now my responsibility. I have been advised not to say anything more for now. I do want to say one other thing; I’ve taken and passed about 15 drug tests over the past five seasons."
- The suspension will cost Ramirez approximately 8 million dollars.

The following is an except from a post that Worst Trade Evah made on the ongoing Hornsby/Robinson debate (and Morgan to a lesser degree) debate raging in the MLB Forum.
In case you've missed the thread, click here to vote for the Greatest Second Baseman Ever.
-----------------
He was absolutely not an "average defender by all accounts". In fact, all the historical accounts I checked (about a dozen just today), make it perfectly clear that Hornsby was below average in his time, even though in his time defense at second was not considered as important as it is now.
Here are some random notes about Hornsby, mostly concerning his defense:

While we are testing the tech on this new site I think that this is as good of a place as any to highlight some of the better posts on SoSH.
Sibpin knocks the ball out of the park with his AL Depth Chart. Let us not dwell on how long he had to lock himself in mom's basement to come up with such a chart, but let's instead recognize it for the coolness that he made something that I can't recall seeing elsewhere on the internet.... very rare in these days of random re-puking of ideas.
bye
